About This Onsen
From the very small onsen town Numajiri Onsen you can hike to the mountains, to the area where the hot water gushes out of the ground (the discharge point). There, you can bath in a mountain stream warmed by the onsen water. This is one of the most prominent onsen in Japan, with more than 10'000 liters discharged every minute from the ground!
