About This Onsen
This onsen always appears on japanese TV as one of the best 10 in Japan, and you can be sure to find a lot of people there. If you want to reserve a room, make reservation 3-6 months prior to your trip. If you intend to bath only during a busy period (Golden Week for example), you will probably wait between 30 min and 1 hour just to be allowed to enter the bath. My advice would be to stay at least one night. I will probably go there again and stay, I'm sure I will give a better general quote for the bath at that time...
